Anorexia is less common than bulimia nervosa but it is more critical. Patients of anorexia are more likely to harm themselves. They usually harm themselves to
avoid negative emotions, out of self-blame, or to get others' attention. Eating disorder can be treated by solving both physical and psychological problems. There
was a 12 year-old girl who was 160 cm tall and weighed only 34 kg. She vomited everything she ate, but doctors couldn't find anything wrong with her. In this case,
she needs to be treated for depression and not for eating disorder.
Eating disorder, insomnia, and anxiety disorder are related with depression. Disorders with all of these symptoms can be treated based on the accurate
understanding of the operational mechanism of human mind and psychology. Women's overweight is related with wounds in mimind and men's overweight is
related with stress. Gaining weight is caused by habits in the unconscious. All the symptoms are the result of the defense mechanism operating the unconscious.
Habits in the unconscious of storing the energy can be redirected to habits of exercising, which can be a healthy way of dieting. Human mind and body are
necessarily and closely related with each other, so operating psychology in the right way can greatly contribute to preventing the dysfunction of the body.
