Youth Mind Training builds the basis for forming healthy self-identity and pursuing self-actualization.
Teenagers who do things as they are told by adults may be considered as being good and ideal, but it may indicate that they are not forming their own thought
standards and building self-identity. It is only natural that children experience conflicts with parents and teachers in the growth process. They go through
trails and errors experiencing conflicts and getting stress in the process of forming self-identity. Conflicts teenagers experience should not be just avoided
but resolved in healthy ways with the help of adults. The can build their ability as adults while making efforts in different situations with different people.
Conflicts during teenage years can be nutrients for forming self-identity.
Then, how can adults help teenagers build healthy self-identity? Adults can teach teenagers about the individual difference in thought standards and errors
in the perception of psychological interactions first. Then, teenagers can build healthy psychology resolving conflicts on their own. It is not right for adults to
impose their own thought standards on teenagers. They should listen to teenagers and accept their ideas. When teenagers' ideas are considered to be wrong by
adults, they may guide teenagers in the right direction by suggesting an alternative and letting them decide for themselves. Teenagers can learn how to solve
problems and resolve conflicts in this process and form healthy habits in psychology. They can successfully pursue self-actualization when they become adults
with healthy self-identity and habits of psychology they have built in teenage years. .
